DESCRIPTION:
Explore Egypt's main sites through an exciting land based tour across the country. A more economic approach to discover Egypt. You'll be traveling from Cairo to Luxor and Aswan via sleeper train. You will visit the marvelous Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. After that you will tour the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. In Luxor and Aswan you will explore the magic of the ancient Egyptian civilization and get to see the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the Valley of the Kings, Karnak and Luxor Temples as well as the Temple of Philae in Aswan and the Aswan Dam.

ITINERARY:
CAIRO / LUXOR / ASWAN BY TRAIN (8 DAYS TOTAL)
DAY 1: CAIRO Arrival at the airport. Assistance upon arrival by your Taba Travel representative at the airport. Transfer to the hotel, our representative will register you at your hotel. Night in Cairo.
DAY 2: CAIRO Breakfast at your hotel, our representative will introduce you to the guide who will share with you an incredible experience. Head out to visit the famous Great Pyramids of Giza belonging to the pharaohs Cheops, Khefren and Mikerinos, where you will enter the area of the pyramids and touch them to feel their greatness. (Optional entry into one of the pyramids). We then continue to the Valley temple of Khefren, where the Pharaoh himself was mummified before entering his pyramid. Then we pass the magnificent Sphinx. Then we will visit the papyrus institute to learn how the ancient Egyptians created paper and then visit a center of essences especially of the famous and sacred lotus flower. Visit the famous Egyptian Museum, which houses an impressive collection of antiquities from the Ancient Egyptians and you will discover much of the country's ancient past and be visually amazed by the wealth of artifact on display. In the evening, at 20:00, we take the sleeper train to Luxor. Dinner on board the train. Night on board
DAY 3: LUXOR Breakfast on the train. Upon arrival in Luxor, our representative will meet you and help you check in. Then we will visit the majestic temples of Luxor temple and Karnak temple dedicated to the deity Amon, where the pharaohs have built the most important monumental temples in history. Then you will visit the Valley of the Kings, to see the magnificence and grandeur of the architecture that was used for the burial of the pharaohs, there are many kings buried in this valley. Continue to visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which was built by Queen Hatshepsut, daughter of Thutmose I, the only female pharaoh to rule ancient Egypt. You will pass by the Colossi of Memnon, which are remains of the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III. Overnight at your hotel in Luxor.
DAY 4: LUXOR Breakfast at the hotel, free day in Luxor (optional visits). Night in Luxor.
DAY 5: ASWAN Breakfast and then take the train to Aswan at 06:00. Arrive and visit the Aswan High Dam, then see the unfinished Obelisk and the beautiful Temple of Isis on Philae Island. Overnight at your hotel in Aswan.
DAY 6: ASWAN / CAIRO Breakfast at the hotel (OPTIONAL possibility to make an excursion to the magnificent temple of Abu-Simbel). In the afternoon at 15:00, our representative will transfer you to the sleeper train to return to Cairo. Dinner on the train and accommodation on board.
DAY 7: CAIRO Breakfast on the train. Arrival in Cairo. Our representative will greet you and help you check into your hotel. Free day in Cairo. Overnight in Cairo.
DAY 8: CAIRO Breakfast and then transfer to Cairo airport for final departure. End of your trip.
